Thomas Lehrer is responsible for all virtualization projects at OneNeck and works closely with various teams to develop customer-ready products. In particular, Thomas handles a majority of OneNeck’s ReliaCloud IaaS offerings and supplemental services. He is a Citrix Certified Expert in Virtualization, VMware Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Solutions expert.
Based in Tempe, Arizona, Thomas joined OneNeck in February 2011. He has more than 20 years of experience performing application and presentation virtualization implementations utilizing Citrix products. He also has nearly 20 years of experience in server virtualization utilizing VMware products. He was also a major contributor on a hosted desktop solution that earned OneNeck an “Innovator of the Year” (in the small company category) award from the Arizona Technology Council in 2011.
Thomas has experience helping customers improve overall operations through a variety of virtualization projects. In fact, he successfully helped the world’s second largest copper mining company virtualize their ERP system, using application virtualization technologies. He also used server virtualization technologies to re-engineer the classroom delivery infrastructure at one of the largest online college’s in the country. Following 9/11, he helped a major financial institution with the rapid recovery of their operations, using both application and server virtualization technologies. He has also extensive experience working with national healthcare providers to unify and secure EMR access across multiple facilities, using server and application virtualization.
Thomas is passionate about all forms of aviation. When not working, Thomas can be found in the air — power paragliding. He also attends jazz/swing dance events around the world and enjoys learning about the East Coast, Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, and Balboa.
Thomas attended the University of New Mexico where he studied biology and computer science while competing in NCAA athletics as a wrestler.
