Jeff Volkert directs and leads the Advanced Services Project Management Office (PMO) at OneNeck. He spends a majority of his time collaborating with the Sales, Architecture and Operations teams on strategic initiatives designed to improve the overall delivery of OneNeck’s services. In all, he has more than a dozen years of experience as a project manager, manager and leader.
Jeff joined OneNeck in 2012 as a senior project manager responsible for delivering large complex projects and programs to customers while simultaneously developing project management templates for the newly formed PMO. In this role, Jeff developed the Project Management (PM) processes and procedures for PMO while successfully delivering one of the largest professional services projects in the company’s history.
Successes led to advancement opportunities for Jeff here at OneNeck, first to the role of PMO manager and then to his current role as director of Advanced Services. During his tenure, Jeff was appointed to lead the merger of the Professional Services and Service Transition teams. He also co-led implementation of the company’s Changepoint Professional Services Automation software. In addition, Jeff was responsible for developing the project methodologies framework.
Jeff is based in Denver, Colorado. He is an avid sports fan and active playing ice hockey, golfing, skiing and mountain biking. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP).
